SPECIAL RELEASES
Aged 56 yeaRS
The Glendronach Aged 56 Years is the oldest, most distinguished bottling ever released in the history of the distillery, marking the dawn of our landmark 200th anniversary. Distilled
in September 1968, this legendary expression has spent over half a century maturing within traditional dunnage warehouses. Originally entrusted to three exquisite Oloroso sherry
butts, the liquid was transitioned in 2014 into three rare Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez hogsheads, culminating in an unparalleled “Sherry Crescendo” of depth and refinement.
To honor two centuries of mastery in sherry cask maturation, exactly 200 hand-blown Glencairn crystal decanters have been released—each representing a year of our storied
history. Every decanter is housed in a bespoke, hand-carved cabinet crafted from American Black Walnut by world-renowned wood sculptor John Galvin, making it a physical tribute
to the passage of time.
