Distillers One of One 2026
An extraordinary, one-of-a-kind collection created exclusively for the prestigious Distillers One of One charity auction, Arias in Time represents the pinnacle of The Glendronach’s artistry and philanthropy. Sold for over $100,000 in October last year, all proceeds from this historic lot went directly to The Distillers’ Charity’s Youth Action Fund, helping to transform the life chances of young people across Scotland. This remarkable release stands as a singular moment in our history, where exceptional Highland single malt meets an enduring commitment to craft and community.
Conceived by Master Blender Rachel Barrie as a “composition of decades,” this ultra-rare collection features four extraordinary whiskies drawn from hand-selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Spanning from a luscious 1993 vintage to a monumental 1968 expression—representing two of the oldest bottles ever released by the distillery—each single cask whisky acts as a solo voice in a spectacular sensory symphony. Together, they offer an unparalleled journey through time, showcasing the sheer depth, complexity, and evolution of our legendary sherry cask maturation.
To honour the profound stature of these whiskies, we collaborated with renowned Milanese artist Osanna Visconti to create a bespoke bronze sculptural artwork titled “Roccia”. Hand-cast using the ancient lost-wax technique, this textured, organic sculpture evokes the rugged, natural beauty of our home in the Scottish Highlands. Housing four exquisite, hand-cut crystal decanters crafted by Glencairn, Arias in Time is a breathtaking marriage of physical sculpture and liquid artistry—a masterpiece born of time, patience, and absolute dedication.
